We no longer use these methods.

Lagoon Advanced Care Wet Cleaning

Lagoon Advanced Care is a modern alternative to traditional dry cleaning and forms a core part of our environmentally responsible approach.
This advanced system uses:
Water-based cleaning
Biodegradable detergents
Carefully controlled temperatures
Computer-controlled cleaning cycles
Lagoon Advanced Care is the only cleaning process approved by Woolmark for woollen garments and is recognised as one of the safest methods for cleaning delicate fabrics.
By using Lagoon, we avoid traditional solvent-based dry cleaning while protecting fibres and reducing environmental impact.

Ozone Laundry Technology

We were the first laundry in Devon to invest in an Ozone Laundry System - a highly efficient cleaning technology originally developed by NASA.
Ozone allows us to:
Wash effectively at lower temperatures
Use less water and energy
Reduce detergent use
Achieve excellent hygiene results
This technology was awarded the Queen’s Award for Sustainable Enterprise (Sustainable Development 2021), recognising its environmental benefits.

Efficient, Low-Temperature Laundry

As part of our responsible laundry processes, we use OxyGuard 40 laundry chemistry.
This allows us to maintain excellent hygiene standards while washing at lower temperatures, meaning:
Fewer harsh chemicals are required
Less water and energy are used
Bed linen can be washed effectively at 40°C
High levels of cleanliness are consistently achieved
It’s a safer, more efficient way to deliver clean, fresh laundry with reduced environmental impact.
